• From Boston, take Route 2 west to Greenfield, Massachusetts (about 2 hours).
• From New York City, take I-91 north to Greenfield, Massachusetts, Exit 26 (about 4 hours).
• From Montréal, take I-89 south to White River Junction, Vermont, then I-91 south to Greenfield, Exit 26 (about 4 hours).
• From Bradley International Airport (Hartford CT/Springfield MA), take I-91 north to Greenfield, Massachusetts, Exit 26 (about 1 hour).

In Greenfield there is a rotary at the intersection of Routes 2 and I-91.  From the rotary, drive west on Route 2, in the direction of North Adams.  Continue about 9 miles, to Shelburne Falls.  Take the SECOND of the three Shelburne Falls exits which is marked "Rt. 112 North: Colrain". This exit is actually a left turn onto Mechanic Street, so ignore all subsequent signs for Rt. 112. The Dancing Bear is in the fourth block (1/3 of mile) on the right hand side, No.22.

From points WEST:

• From Albany and North Adams, take Route 2 east towards Boston.    Shelburne Falls is about 10 miles east of Charlemont (about an hour and a half from Albany). Take the SECOND of the three Shelburne Falls exits which is marked "Rt. 112 North: Colrain". This exit is actually a right turn onto Mechanic Street, so ignore all subsequent signs for Rt. 112. The Dancing Bear is in the fourth block (1/3 of mile) on the right hand side, No.22.

Parking directions:

Parking is not allowed on our side (the west side) of the street. Also, during winter months, overnight street parking is prohibited.  For guests, there are two spaces (side by side) in the yard to the left of our house, and one space in the driveway immediately to the right of the house. Please do not use the neighbor's space to the right of our driveway. If you are unsure, just park temporarily and we'll show you where to park your car.
